The course “Drama in the English classroom” has taken place in CFIE Valladolid during January and February.
I would like to thank all participants for the willingness and dedication they have shown in the development of the four sessions of the course. We have also had an excellent teacher trainer, Colette Johnston, who has exquisitely captured the idea of the course.
I love drama and I absolutely believe in the benefits of the application of drama techniques and rol-play to the foreign language classroom. Experience has shown me so.
With drama, students improve their self-esteem, learn to better understand their emotions, develop their creativity, handle their verbal and body expression, stimulate their memory and their ability to improvise, promote collaborative work ... in short,they LEARN and have FUN. Is not that life? ¡Lo nuestro es puro teatro!
